HOMESTEAD, Fla. — Kyle Larson drove his № 5 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet ZL-1 Camaro to victory Sunday at Homestead-Miami Speedway in the Dixie Vodka 400 NASCAR Cup Series Playoff race. Larson grabbed both stage wins and led 199 of 267 laps to win by 1.261-seconds over Florida native Ross Chastain in the № 1 Trackhouse Racing Chevrolet.

It was a much-needed win, his 3rd in 2022, for the defending NASCAR Cup Series Champion who has struggled this season. “Definitely the best run we’ve had all year long,” he added. “We’ve been capable of it, I feel like many weekends, we just hadn’t quite put it all together. [Crew chief] Cliff [Daniels] gave a great speech this morning and got us all ready to go and focused.”

Updated Rankings from the GFT Algorithms
Logano remains the only driver locked into the Championship 4 and his 18th place finish at Miami didn’t affect his P1 ranking. Ross Chastain moves up to P2 with a strong 2nd place finish, while Chase Elliott drops a spot to P3 after finishing 14th. William Bryon moves up just above the cut line to P4, but it’s very tight with Denny Hamlin in the points.
