Red Bull Racing continues to dominate the F1 grid. Max Verstappen secured the 2022 F1 Driver World Championship a few weeks ago by winning the Japan GP. Then Red Bull went P1 (Verstappen) and P3 (Perez) at COTA USGP to secure the Constructors’ Championship. Sunday at the Mexico GP the Bulls went P1 (Verstappen) and P3 (Perez) again, with Verstappen collecting his 14th win on the season, setting a new F1 single season win record. And with 2 races left in the 2022 F1 season, Verstappen can increase the record if he performs as he has recently with 3 straight wins.

No Changes in the F1 GFT AI Driver Rankings
Even with Mercedes gaining and Ferrari falling off in the altitude of Mexico City, there were no changes in the F1 GFT AI Driver Rankings. Followers often ask why our AI ranking differs from the F1 Driver Standings. The answer is WINS. Our GFT algorithms give more weight to wins. While Perez is 2nd in Driver Points, Leclerc has 3 wins vs. 2 for Perez. Same with Sainz and Hamilton. Sainz has 1 win and Hamilton (shockingly for the 7x Champion) has 0 wins so far this season.
