SPIELBERG, AUSTRIA — Red Bull Racing wins at the Red Bull Ring. Max Verstappen continued his winning streak with another dominating performance Sunday at Speilberg’s 4.3KM Red Bull Ring track. Red Bull Racing teammate Sergio Perez also made the podium in P3. As a F1 Sprint format weekend, there were more opportunities for drama and competitors to try and match what Red Bull Racing and specifically Max Verstappen brought to Austria. They failed. Miserably. Again.

Verstappen won the Saturday’s Sprint Shootout and Sprint Race to secure the pole for Sunday’s Grand Prix.

“I think the most important [thing] for me was Lap 1, to stay in front,” said race-winner Verstappen. “After that we could do our own race. Of course we opted not to box during the Virtual Safety Car, and just follow our normal strategy, and I think that worked out really well. The tire [degradation] was not that high around here and our stints were perfect, so a great day — I enjoyed it a lot!”
