Hamlin Wins Dover, Larson 2nd and holds P1 in GFT Rankings again this week

DOVER, DE — Denny Hamlin powered his Joe Gibbs Racing №11 Toyota to win the Wurth 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Dover Motor Speedway on Sunday. Hamlin, who led for the final 72 laps, secured his third win of the season in a close battle with Hendrick Motorsports driver Kyle Larson, who finished second.
Martin Truex Jr. rounded out the podium in third place, while other top finishers included Kyle Busch in 4th, Chase Elliott finished 5th, and Noah Gregson brought home the best Ford finish with 6th. Gregson continues a string a top 10 finishes, showing strength for the Stewart-Haas organization.
Hamlin’s win at Dover solidifies his position as a championship contender, now tied with Willam Byron at 3 wins each. Is this finally Hamlin’s year to win a Cup championship?
LARSON’S 2nd PLACE FINISH IN DOVER EXTENDS P1 RANKING
