Entry list published for NASCAR Clash at the Coliseum
Preparations are nearly complete for the NASCAR 2022 Busch Light Clash at the Coliseum. Work crews have now completed laying down a special asphalt mixed specifically for the track construction inside the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. The exhibition race will take place Sunday February 6 at 3pm local time/ 6pm Eastern and will be broadcast on FOX television and MRN radio.
New Valley Construction executive Steve Boscardin told reporters his crews brought in about 500 truckloads of dirt along with 1,560 tons of a special high-performance asphalt. The timeline is tight with the track having just two weeks to set and cure before the Feb. 6 Busch Light Clash. Boscardin said previous tracks got a month to settle, but he’s not worried.
