LONG POND, PA — Ryan Blaney drove his Team Penske №12 Ford Mustang to victory lane at Pocono, holding off Denny Hamlin and Alex Bowman to score his 2nd win of the NASCAR Cup Series season. The defending Cup Series Champion, Blaney demonstrated he will be a factor in the Playoffs, building momentum with both wins in the last month (Blaney won at Iowa on June 16th).

The victory in the Great American Getaway 400 was Blaney’s second win at the 2.5-mile Pennsylvania track and the 12th of his Cup Series career.

Very little change in the rankings this week and a strange shift where Blaney’s win actually dropped him 2 spots because those ahead of him also had strong finishes and/or scored stage points.
